THE RESILIENT: A NEW YORK CITY REAL ESTATE DOCUMENTARY

This modern day real estate documentary tracks the lives and the insights of some of New York City's most prolific real estate executives. The three part docu-series covers the tales of tragedy to triumph with some of the nation's most terrifying events inclusive of September 11th, 2001, the Financial Crisis of 2008, and Hurricane Sandy. The executives go into what life looked like back then, the projects they were working on, and what it takes to rebound after such losses.

This is the first documentary of its kind, as it was fully produced, filmed, and created by New York real estate executives.


THE RESILIENT: EPISODE 1

The attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001 changed the world forever. Larry Silverstein, the former owner of the Twin Towers, and the rest of the cast go into detail of the happenings of that day, and they managed to overcome it all.

The Financial Crisis of 2008 will go down in history as the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930’s. The real estate bubble had burst and excessive risk-taking by banks such as Lehman Brothers helped to magnify the financial impact globally. The cast of The Resilient: Episode 2 discuss in detail what the impact was on them, their business, and the nation as a whole.
